Peter Welton's Visit
In October 2015 we welcomed local professional watercolour artist Professor Peter Welton into Kilby school. Mr Welton was the Head of Fine Art at De Montfort University for many years and has had pictures commissioned by the Queen.
Mr Welton ran some painting classes for our KS2 children which taught the children how to paint using watercolours and showed the children some of his previous work to inspire them. The children found it very interesting and enjoyable and produced some wonderful pieces of art.
